You’ve lovingly mixed, kneaded, proofed, and baked your favorite treat. You take it, steaming, out of the oven, smelling its warming aroma. You’ve chosen to only sweeten it with honey because you made it with love. Honey isn’t too sweet; it’s natural, wholesome, not artificial. It’s real. That’s what this blog it about: being real.
I’m Leah to most, Mrs. Z to some, mom to one, and I have something important to say. I’m creating this blog to share that something… once I figure out exactly what it is. It may have to do with sourdough, fermented dairy and vegetables, or nutrition. It may have to do with being an eco-mom who composts, uses cloth diapers and cloth paper towels, who has chickens and tries (fails) to garden. It may end up being about working in low-performing, Title 1 schools and trying to help the underrepresented youth amplify their voices through writing. This blog may end up serving as a space where I connect other like-minded individuals to the resources and experts that I’ve come to appreciate on the internet. I’ll tell you what: I’ll post about all the things and we’ll find out together what sticks.
Thank you for visiting! I hope you enjoy your time here!
